Ability Enterprise and BrandPC Partner to Launch Advanced Edge AI Cameras in Vietnam

Taipei, Taiwan — Ability Enterprise (TWSE: 2374), a professional edge AI camera ODM/OEM provider in Taiwan, and BrandPC, a leading electronics distributor based in Hanoi, Vietnam, have joined forces to introduce Ability’s latest edge AI cameras and solutions to various vertical markets in Vietnam starting early 2023.

Comprehensive Product and Module Introduction

BrandPC plans to roll out Ability’s full lineup of Intel-based edge AI cameras and modules, including the VS1NL70 AI-Vue 8MP ANPR bullet camera, the VS6NLB0 dome camera with embedded Intel® Movidius™ VPU and full support for Intel Distribution of Openvino Toolkit, Sony STARVIS™ CMOS sensor, and the VS12112 with an optional 4G LTE modem. With the Intel Openvino Toolkit and a rich Public Model Zoo repository, developers can quickly deploy AI models and later port proprietary algorithms to Ability’s edge cameras for enhanced neural network computing performance. This hybrid approach shortens development cycles and reduces time to market.

Collaboration and Customization

BrandPC is also collaborating with image application specialists to develop AI-enabled software tailored for Vietnam’s vertical markets. Additionally, Ability’s camera platforms support modular add-ons such as solar-powered battery supply and 4G/LTE WiFi modules for greater customization.
